Chickasaw is a small city located in the Mobile County, Alabama, United States. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city covers 12 square kilometers of which 0.26 square kilometers is water. According to the 2010 census, there were 2,879 housing units in the city Chickasaw is home to 6,106 people and the population density is 250.3 people per square kilometer.

The racial population of Chickasaw was quite diverse as there were 33.6% African American or Black, 63% White, 8% Native American, 2.3% Latino or Hispanic, 0.5% Asian and 0.9% from other races. The public schools in the city are located within the Chickasaw City Schools district and were formed when city voted for the cause. What is now a beautiful small city, Chickasaw, was an incorporated town in the early 20th century. The whole town was owned by one large company named Gulf Shipbuilding Corporation. It took a long time for the United States’ government to give this place a status of a city. Chickasaw was incorporated as a city in 1946 and is now included in the Mobile metropolitan statistical area.

The city offers you amazing sites, which have immense historical value, theme parks, and beautiful natural scenery where you can come with your family or friends to spend your vacations or weekends. This place attracts tourists from all over the United States. The climate of this region, however, is not pleasant. In fact it is harsh as it can get really cold in the winter with temperature dropping till -18°C while really hot and humid in the summer.
